Congratulations to Year 11 student Archie Bater who has been awarded The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award-Bronze and Silver. The award recognises a person’s ability to be well-rounded, adaptable and committed.
To be awarded with the The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, Archie committed one hour or more to each of the four award framework sections a week;
- Voluntary Service spending some of your time over a period giving service in the community.
- Physical Recreation teaching you valuable team skills as well as improve your confidence.
- The Skills Section is all about helping you to develop your personal interests, talents, and hobbies.
- Adventurous Journey an exciting opportunity to step outside your comfort zone on a team journey.
