Our Christian Foundations
St Peter’s College is a Christian school and, as part of the Anglican Church of Australia, is serious in its commitment to form young men in the Christian faith. Christianity is at the centre of the School’s focus on enriching the minds, bodies and spirits of students. Influencing every part of the life of the School, the Christian faith is actively taught and practiced, and it forms a critical part of our wellbeing program.
As a Christian school, the person and work of Jesus of Nazareth is at the heart of everything we do. As an Anglican school, we recognise the balance that Scripture, tradition and reason brings to every boy’s wellbeing. St Peter’s College is an active and meaningful place of worship, led by the School Chaplains and with student participation. Our teachings and services encourages students to explore their spirituality and think about their faith. Services occur on most days in the historic and beautiful School Chapel.
As a School, and as a community, we are enriched and strengthened by our diversity. Saints is a safe and inclusive learning space and we welcome boys of all backgrounds.
